Centre d'histoire de Montréal



Today we went to the "Centre d'histoire de Montréal". The guide taught us a lot of things about the history of Montreal. Very interesting indeed !!!




Now I suggest to quiz you about what you learnt:






  1. How was called the first village which gave birth to the city of Montreal?
  2. Who discovered this village?
  3. Who lived in this village originally?
  4. What are the names of the 2 co-founders of Montreal?
  5. Which symbols can be found on the flag of Montreal?
  6. What does this 4 symbols stand for?
  7. Who is the well-known figure who is represented as a statue in the museum?
  8. Which famous international firm made the time clock that can be seen in the museum? (time clock: clock that you can find at the entrance of a compagny to track time spent by employees in the company)
  9. When did the Universal Exposition take place in Montreal?
  10. Which means of transportation can we take on the 1st floor?
